IndiaSpend Learning Series is an online-credit based education platform providing courses of journalism covering topics ranging from public health, mental health, gender, youth and child rights, climate change and environment, food and agriculture, among others. ISDJ also provides courses for journalists and aspiring journalists to hone their skills on evolving journalism requirements such as debunking fake news, writing compelling data stories, drafting pitches for freelance assignments, storytelling through visuals etc.

ISDJ provides access to online classes that you can set according to your pace, taught by instructors, in-house journalists, and professionals from the industry. Each module has pre and post tests, short lessons, and an engaging assignment for you to work on. ISDJ also offers fellowships to journalists on a number of courses. 

You need to create an account with an email address or log in to Facebook. As soon as you’re ready with an ISDJ account, you can select any course of your choice and begin your course according to your convenience.

Yes, the courses are free of cost. However, you are required to make a payment for acquiring a certificate from ISDJ.

You need to make a payment after the completion of course in order to receive a certificate from ISDJ.

Click on the icon of ‘My Profile’. You will see a drop down menu. Click on ‘Purchases’ and you will be able to view your ISDJ transaction details.

No, it is not compulsory to pay for a course to complete.

100% of the fees generated from the certificate-course you take will be channeled into the creation of additional modules.
